ChessVora is a competitive chess arena with a pixel-art visual identity and a Solana/Web3-inspired theme. It combines chess strategy with digital identity, quests, Pool Points, ranked competition, and future expandable reward systems.

Skill First Server Verified Pool Points No Investment Promise

1. Overview

ChessVora is not just a chess game. It is designed as a Web3 gaming experience where players can play matches, track progress, complete quests, earn Pool Points, climb ELO rankings, and join a richer ecosystem that may later include cosmetics, tournaments, seasonal events, and reward pools.

Game

The playable browser game: lobby, profile, quests, leaderboard, Pool screen, wallet modal, and Vori onboarding.

Server

The Node.js API and WebSocket backend handling sessions, wallet signatures, usernames, ranked/PvP matchmaking, bot matches, ELO, and Pool Points.

Landing

The chessvora.com entry layer that introduces the game, hosts Roadmap and Whitepaper content, and sends players into guest or wallet handoff flows.

ChessVora's main goal is to provide chess players with a fair, fast, fun, and reward-oriented competitive environment.

2. Vision

ChessVora's vision is to transform chess into a digital arena where skill, time, consistency, and competitive effort become meaningful. The project prioritizes gameplay first, then a sustainable economy.

  • Skill-first competition based on chess ability and discipline.
  • Fair-play economy with limits against botting, farming, and abuse.
  • Accessible Web3 entry through transaction-free signature verification.
  • Cosmetic identity through pieces, boards, frames, avatars, and profile items.
  • Future tournament and reward pool opportunities based on performance.
  • Sustainable retention and community growth over short-term hype.

3. Game Experience

New players can start as guests, learn the system through Vori onboarding, then join the competitive ecosystem by verifying their wallet and choosing a username.

  1. Enter through chessvora.com.
  2. Start with guest access or wallet connection.
  3. Learn the game through Vori onboarding.
  4. Choose Practice, Local Practice, or Ranked PvP.
  5. Earn Pool Points from eligible server-backed matches.
  6. Activate ELO in ranked matches.
  7. Earn additional PP through quests.
  8. Track progress through leaderboard, Pool screen, and profile.
  9. Join future tournaments, seasons, cosmetics, and reward systems.

4. Game Modes

Ranked PvP

Requires wallet verification and username. It uses WebSocket matchmaking, can use bot fallback after 35 seconds, and calculates ELO plus Pool Points.

Practice

A server-verified bot match mode. It does not affect ELO, but eligible users can earn a smaller amount of Pool Points.

Local Practice

A client-side AI mode with no server record, ELO, or Pool Points. It is designed for risk-free training.

PvP Rematch

Lets players play again as pvp_unrated, with automatic ELO and Pool Points calculations disabled.

5. Pool Points System

Pool Points are the core progression points of ChessVora's server-backed game economy. They reward genuine participation and higher-quality matches rather than fast farming behavior.

10. Cosmetic Economy

The cosmetic economy is a future expansion area where players can personalize their in-game identity without gaining any performance advantage.

  • Chess piece sets, boards, frames, avatars, and backgrounds
  • Badges, emotes, effects, seasonal collections, and event items
  • Quest, season, tournament, leaderboard, and special collection rewards
  • Potential Web3 ownership models for selected future cosmetics

Core principle: cosmetics must not be pay-to-win.

11. Tournaments and Reward Pools

Tournaments are central to ChessVora's long-term development, helping players compete in larger environments beyond individual ranked matches.

  • Daily mini tournaments, weekly arena events, and seasonal ranked tournaments
  • Invite-only, sponsored, community, beginner, and ELO-range events
  • Reward pools based on tournament rankings and seasonal leaderboards
  • Cosmetic drops, quest chains, community pools, and sponsor campaigns

ChessVora does not promise guaranteed income or investment returns.

12. Fair-Play and Anti-Abuse Approach

Fair competition is critical in a chess-based game economy. ChessVora applies anti-abuse rules to protect Pool Points and ELO.

  • Minimum duration and move/ply requirements
  • Forfeit, resignation, and disconnect point impact
  • Daily limits by opponent, bot, category, and bot fallback
  • Server-backed match verification
  • Wallet and username verification requirements
  • ELO only in eligible ranked matches

Future improvements may include suspicious pattern analysis, multi-account detection, tournament review, advanced abandon evaluation, anti-cheat signals, leaderboard anomaly tracking, and community reporting.
